Chapter 11

The New World

Many years later, the Molers were having trouble; their mountain’s soil was getting soft.  The Molers couldn’t live in soft ground, so they left in search of a better place.  The Mandons were also having trouble.  Part of them wanted to make an absolute monarchy, like the Molers, and some wanted to go how it was.  The rebels ran off to the Chemical islands.  The rest of the Mandons thought they were rid of them, but a few years later, they came back to the plateau with an army, and they drove the Mandons away.  The Mandons needed to find a new home, so they went to the abandoned Moler Mountain and made it their home.  Mandons, unlike other races, evolve quickly to suit their environment, for example, they used to have tough, dark skin and horns, perfect for a plateau.  On the mountain, they started to lose their horns, and they grew beaks, feathers, and wings.  They changed their name into Geruda, meaning bird people.  One Mandon however, didn’t go to the mountain.  He stayed in a cave with his son, Darwin, who’s great, great-grandson was Morkai.  The Gindu Tree, who over all these years was only about fifteen, gathered together a bunch of Mongols, a type of monster, and civilized them.  They became the Gindols.  This was all of the races.  Now the leader of the rebel Mandons decided he wanted Gimeon as his king.  He went to the temple of darkness and revived Gimeon, who started destroying everything.  The three wizards saw what was happening to their world, so they decided to do something.  They couldn’t kill Gimeon, or the world would be out of balance, so they decided to flood it.  Some places, like Moler Mountain and Mandon Plateau, rose to the surface of the water.  Other places were covered in water.  New islands were created, and the creatures living in flooded places were placed on islands above where they lived.  Their memory of the world being un-flooded was erased.  Since the wandering Molers were now in Saharis Desert, they were put in Mysticsand Island.
