The Final Shard

He was instantly teleported out of the castle.  “I don’t know where the next shard is, but I think it’s somewhere on the Northern Continent.” said the tree.  Scott used his flipper to swim to the shore.  After a few steps, Scott was in Gormia Canyon.  Scott somehow knew that the shard was in Gormia Palace, but the palace door was jammed.  There was a well, and a cave.  Scott went into the cave.  A ghost appeared and started draining Scott’s energy.  He quickly got out of there.  He somehow felt that the answer was in Tanjar Graveyard, so that’s where he went.  It was a lot easier to get there, since he didn’t have to go through the Chemical Islands.  When he got there, he saw a man walking around.  He came up and asked the man’s name.  “I’m Zandal, son of Zandal, of the Zandal clan.” the man replied.  “I’m looking for something that will calm down that ghost in the cave over in Gormia.” “Oh, that must be by brother, Zandal.  Go into this grave, and see if you can find anything.”  So Scott went into the grave.  Inside were many enemies and traps, but Scott finally got to the end, and he found an inscription.  It was a song for the piccolo.  When he returned to the cave, the ghost started his magic, but Scott played the song he learned.  The ghost vanished, and the well dried up, allowing Scott to go into it.  The well was another maze, but at the end, he found himself inside Gormia Palace.  Inside the palace, Scott found a Red Ring.  The red ring replaced his blue ring, and would only allow one quarter of the damage done to him, actually be done to him.  At the end of the palace, Scott ran into the most powerful enemy he had ever encountered, the Ancient Dragon of Gormia!  The A.D.o.G. was very powerful; it could materialize rocks and use them to crush enemies.  It could also fly, so Scott had a hard time attacking.  Scott had to use the skills he used on all the other bosses to defeat the A.D.o.G.  It was a long and hard battle, but Scott came out victorious.  The A.D.o.G. flew away before Scott could finish it off, but he did get the last shard of the Spirit Medallion.  With the medallion back into one, Scott’s body radiated with power.  “Now I’ll be able to defeat anything!” he shouted triumphantly.
