Chapter 5 Back to the Central Continent
When he woke up, he suddenly knew where he was, Samsa Village, his hometown! He first went to the store. Luckily, they had arrows in stock. Scott then went north into Anchor Field. At Anchor Field, Scott found two shops, a regular shop and a cave labeled, Discount Medicine Warehouse. At the shop, he bought a magnifying lens. They also had a neat spell book, but it was too expensive. At the medicine place, he found he could buy healing potions with the card he found. At the north-west edges of Anchor Field, there were holes in front of ladders leading to Mandon Plateau. At the very north, was an entrance to Saharis Desert. In the middle of the field, there was a cave. Suddenly, Scott heard the Gindu Tree! “Go into that cave. It has a shard in it!” the voice said. “How are you talking to me?” Scott asked. “As I said before, I’m the Gindu tree. I can do anything I want.” “Even defeat Gimeon?” “Oh, I could defeat him with one branch tied behind my trunk, but this is supposed to be the legend of the Spirit Walker, not the legend of the Gindu Tree.” “Oh, I guess that makes sense.” Anyway, Scott went into the Underground Cave. The cave was a lot harder to navigate than the tree or the shrine. Inside of it, he found a Super Boomerang. It was much more powerful than his regular boomerang. He also found an inflatable boat that couldn’t sail on its own, but if he rode it off a dock, it would follow the currents to another dock. At the end of the cave, he found a giant worm with razor sharp teeth, called Molworm. “This must be another of Gimeon’s Creations.” Molworm didn’t talk, but it had a look on its face that said, I want the shard, and I’m going to tear apart anything that gets in my way. Molworm would go underground, then jump out and attack. Scott found that if he sliced Molworm’s tail in the short time it was above ground, it would damage it. After several hits like this, Molworm collapsed. Through the door, Scott found the third shard. He was instantly teleported out of the cave. “The next shard is in Saharis desert.” the tree said. So that’s where he went. The desert was like a rectangle. Anchor Field was at the very left of the south side. To the west was a hole blocking another ladder to Mandon Plateau. There was nothing to the north, and to the right was the desert. It was more like a maze than a desert. About halfway through the maze, Scott found a ladder to Moler Mountain. He decided not to climb it because he didn’t want to get lost up there. Finally, he found the desert temple. Inside he found a blue ring. It cut the damage done to him by ˝. He also found a feather. The feather allowed him to jump over one space of water or hole, just what he needed to get to Mandon Plateau. At the end of the temple he found another creature. It was a rock with eyes and a mouth. “I am Mahammed!” the creature said. Then suddenly rocks started flying at Scott! At first he thought Mahammed was flinging them by some magic, but when he looked into his lens that he bought, he could see ghosts picking up the rocks and throwing them. He started slashing the rocks with his sword (He found it after defeating the Underground Cave). After all the rocks were gone, the ghosts disappeared, and Mahammed jumped in the air, coming down with a smash that caused a small earthquake. Scott was stunned for a little while, giving Mahammed the chance to damage him. There were some holes in the ground, and Scott knew what to do. As Mahammed jumped, so did Scott. Scott stayed in the air long enough to avoid the earthquake, then slashed Mahammed. Using this strategy, he got Mahammed so weak, Mahammed shouted, “Oh, forget this dumb shard. I’ll go find another one. Scott walked into the opened door and found the fourth shard. “Just five more to go.”
