Chapter 15 2nd Scott’s Adventure
“Wait!” Kilfred said. “Before you go, take this.” Kilfred ran into his house and reached for the nearest wand, ripped off the box, and gave it to Scott. “I sure hope that was the right wand!” he thought. “Gimme that book!” Kilfred grabbed Scott’s spell book and wrote something in it. “This is the slash spell. It will let your wand slash like a sword.” Kilfred said. “Alright, can we get going? I think I’m going to pass out from boredom.” Terry said. Later, on the boat, Scott decided to go explore downstairs. To his surprise, he found Morkai down there. “Hey, wanna have something useful?” he asked. It was the first time he had actually said something to him. “Sure.” Scott replied. “All you have to do is reach in my pocket and pull it out and you can have it. It’s that simple.” Then he made a devastating leap to a small platform on the other side of the room. “You have to get over here to get it, and the only way to get over here is to swing from the ropes hanging from the ceiling.” Scott spent a lot of hours trying to get over there, but he finally made it. He reached inside the big guy’s pocket. “You’re gonna need it.” he said. Suddenly, he heard a call from above. “Hey, you guys, we’re here!” Scott and Morkai came up on deck. Blackcastle Island was a giant fort surrounded by a high wall. “There’s no way we’re gonna be able to get in there.” Terry said. “There’s only one way to get you in there, Morkai, bring out the slingshot.” Morkai ran inside, and wheeled out a giant slingshot. Before he knew it, Scott was sitting in the giant bowl, and it was pulled all the way down. “Don’t worry.” Terry said. “I launch Morkai out of this thing all the time, and he’s not dead is he?” Morkai turned a wheel, and the slingshot tilted at an angle. “Now we’re going to launch you. Don’t thrash, it’ll just throw you off course.” Morkai pulled a lever, there was a twang, and the slingshot launched Scott into the air.
