24 Game
Over Gimeon
swung his sword at Scott. He barely dodged it. He started running, and
when he was far enough away, pulled out his wand and shouted,
“Arrdones!” A huge
explosion took out half the wall. Gimeon didn’t even flinch. He kept
coming, full force. Gimeon held up his sword and a dark mass gathered
around it. He pointed it at Scott and said,
“Escaven Durgen.” The
bolt of dark energy launched itself at Scott. He got out of the way just
in time. The bolt hit the wall behind him and it began to crumble away
into nothing.
“Wha… what was that?” Scott asked.
“That,” Gimeon replied, “was a high-powered dark matter
converter. It converts matter into dark energy. Though I’ve never tried
it on a person before. You’ll make a nice test subject.” He began
charging the big death blast again. Scott was clearly outmatched. Gimeon
once again pointed his sword and said,
“Escaven Durgen.” There
was nowhere for Scott to run this time. As the bolt came closer, he swung
his sword. The bolt bounced off of the Legendary Sword and went back at
Gimeon. He used his sword to knock the bolt off into the air. “Very
clever, Spirit Walker,” Gimeon said. “I never would’ve though of
doing that. Bouncing my own death ball back at me. You’re not as stupid
as I took you to be.” Gimeon rushed forward and knocked Scott off his
feet. “But I’m afraid smarts will not help you now.” He raised his
sword to swing, but a hand grabbed the sword before it could reach Scott.
He looked up and saw Terry holding Gimeon’s sword back. “Terry?
How? How did you… what happened? Shadowaxe…”
“Shadowaxe is gone forever. I told you I had my ways. Now let’s
take this guy down!”
“Heh, heh, foolish girl. You cannot defeat me.”
“I can’t, can I? Let’s find out.” Terry dashed around
Gimeon, giving Scott a chance to get up. Gimeon pointed his sword at them
and said, “Uuval Orog.” A
huge, stone wall rose out of the ground, blocking the way.
“Can’t have you two running off, now can we?” Gimeon mocked.
“Now let’s try this again. Escaven
Durgen.” The dark energy bolt zipped at Terry and Scott. Scott swung
his sword at the bolt, knocking it back at Gimeon.
“Oh, no, whatever shall I do?” Gimeon mocked. “There’s a
death ball headed straight for my head, and all I have to defend myself is
an indestructible sword and an endless arsenal of dark energy.” He swung
his sword and knocked the bolt back at Scott. Scott hadn’t seen this
coming, and swung his sword too early. Suddenly, Terry held out a wand and
said, “Durgen, exisito negata!” The
death ball disintegrated in the air.
“So, you’re talented with magic, are you?” Gimeon said.
“How ‘bout trying this out for size.” He held up his sword and said,
“Negata powenda osu twigantos osu malos aslo feslos.” Nothing
happened.
“What exactly did you do?” Scott asked.
“I negated the energy in your wands for the time being,” Gimeon
said. “Don’t worry; your magic is not gone forever. It will return in
about a half an hour. Unfortunately for you, you aren’t going to live
that long. Time to say good bye. You’ve lost, Spirit Walker. Game over.
